What do Participants Need to Know?

1. How to use Score My Golf

1a. Responding to an Invitation

When you're invited to an event you will receive an email with instructions and a push notification.

You can choose to accept or decline the invite. Declining an invitation will automatically remove you from the event and notify the organiser.

1b. Adding Scores on the Scorecard

Scores entered must be the gross score, the system will automatically apply your handicap and update the leaderboard accordingly.

Only 1 person in the group needs to add scores in after each hole is played.

1c. Viewing Leaderboard and Scorecard Details

The leaderboard can be viewed directly from the scorecard or from the events tab for all historical events. Depending on the event settings, the final scores may be hidden until the event ends.

Tapping on a players name will present their full scorecard.

The details tab will confirm that scores have been submitted and highlight any score conflicts generated during the round.

1d. Dealing with Conflicts

Conflicts are created when a user tries to update a score after it is submitted.

The users involved with the conflict cannot be the ones to approve the score change. All conflicts are logged and notifications are sent when triggered.

The details tab shows a history of any conflicts and the resolutions.
