Managing your golf day

1. Managing Your Golf Event

1a. Creating a New Golf Event

To book an event, simply head to 'book an event' and select the event size suitable for you. Give your event a name and set the date and time the event will start.

If you're in your free trial period, you're welcome to run as many 16 player events before the trial runs out.

Alternative you can do this on the website once you're logged in.

1b. Setting Event Details

Event organisers and event admins have the ability to set the scoring method and add details to share with the participants.

You can choose to hide the final scores, which will hide the last few holes on the leaderboard (except for admins) to keep the winner a surprise.

1c. Setting the Event Location and Tee

Under the event details, you can select to set the location. Search for the course name and it will present you a list to choose from and the tee colours available at this course.

Our database may not have every course available. If no search results are found, you can select "My location was not found". This will present a form to provide some details (name/postcode/tee colour) of the course hosting your event and someone from our support team will add in the course details before your event.

1d. Changing the Event Location and Tee

Once a location has been set, you can see the location details at the bottom of the event details screen. Here you're presented a button to change the location and tee colour for the event.

2. Managing Participants

2a. Inviting participants

You will need an email address for every participant you wish to invite to the event.

Once you've added in the users email address, they will receive an email with details on registering and instructions on how to respond to your invitation.

2b. Update participant details

Depending on whether the user is registered or not, you can set the participants name, handicap and group.

Each participant will have an access level allowing you to delegate control:

Participant - No event permissions other than to view details and score for their group.
Participant Admin - Allows the user to manage participants including inviting participants.
Event Admin - Allows full control to the event equal to the event organiser.
